All your mates are drunk having a great time, and you're not drinking and bored out of your brains? What do you do?
Steps:

  • Watch the funny drunks! It can be really funny to simply watch those idiots act stupid. Take photographs and share these with them at a later date. They can also be used to show them how stupid they look and act when they drink too much.
  • Act like you're drunk yourself. Your friends won't know the difference and then you can just do stupid things with them. And you won't have to worry about having a hangover!
  • Watch a movie.
  • Find other sober people to talk to. This could be a good opportunity to make new friends. You likely are not the only person not drinking at a party.
  • Find drunk people to talk to. When your friend is buzzed, maybe she'll tell you that secret you've been dying to know.
  • Play bartender. You can also help water down drinks to help out your friends.
  • Play strip poker with all the drunk people, odds are you will win. If you don't, you can always cheat. They won't know because they're drunk.
  • Become the designated driver to ensure your friends arrive home safely. This may or may not be "fun", but it may make you the hero of the night, and may give you a warm fuzzy glow for being a good guy or gal.
  • Get some! if you are sober and someone you fancy is drunk, chances are that you may be able to take advantage of them (in the good way)

Tips:

  • If your good friends are getting really drunk, give them lots of water. This will prevent what would otherwise be a terrible hangover for them, and make them indebted to you (which is always a good thing).
  • Remember, a lot of the fun of being at a party, regardless of whether there is alcohol, is simply being with people. When people are together and drinking, they generally think they are much more drunk than they are.
  • Don't drink and drive. Don't let your friends do it, either.
  • Although it's nice to help "babysit" drunk people, you're not under any obligation to take care of them unless they're imminently about to do something stupid. If you want to leave a party you're not having fun at, that's your right.
  • Make sure to secure a ride home. You don't want to be driven to a party only to have your ride get trashed.

Warnings:

  • Not having fun is bad for your health, so have fun.
  • Sharp pointy objects and drunk people are a bad mix.
  • If you attempt to blackmail someone with a picture, it may be harmful to your health and it can be illegal.
  • If you feel that the others are doing things you would rather not, like become rowdy, sexually harrassing, or neighbors are threatening to call the police, leave. You can get into trouble inadvertently by being at an out-of-control party or situation and it's best to not be there when and if something bad happens.
